Discover Cousin's Pizza

If you’re driving along 1315 Tatamy Rd, Easton, PA 18045, United States, it’s easy to miss the unassuming storefront of Cousin's Pizza-but once you step inside, the smell of fresh dough and bubbling mozzarella makes it clear you’ve found something special. I’ve stopped here more times than I can count after long workdays in Easton, and every visit feels familiar in the best way. The staff greet regulars by name, and the rhythm of the kitchen-dough stretching, sauce spreading, ovens opening and closing-runs like clockwork.

The first thing that stands out is the pizza itself. Their classic New York-style pies have that perfect balance: a thin, crisp crust with just enough chew, tangy tomato sauce, and a generous layer of whole-milk mozzarella. According to the National Restaurant Association, pizza remains one of America’s most popular comfort foods, and it’s easy to see why when you taste a slice done right. Here, the dough is prepared fresh daily, allowed to ferment properly, and baked on a hot stone deck oven. That fermentation process, which food scientists often point to as key for flavor development, gives the crust its airy texture and slightly nutty taste.

On my last visit, I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a side of garlic knots. The pepperoni curled at the edges, creating those crispy little cups that hold droplets of flavorful oil-a small detail that signals attention to temperature and timing. The garlic knots were brushed with a house-made blend of olive oil, minced garlic, and parsley, then finished with grated Parmesan. It’s simple food, yet done with care. And that consistency is what keeps locals coming back.

Beyond pizza, the menu stretches into Italian-American staples: baked ziti, chicken parmesan, stromboli, calzones, and hot subs. I once brought a group of colleagues here after a site visit, and instead of ordering individual slices, we shared a tray of lasagna and a couple of specialty pies. The lasagna arrived bubbling, layered with ricotta and seasoned ground beef, and served with a side salad. Portion sizes are generous, which makes it ideal for families or casual group dinners.

Customer reviews across popular platforms frequently mention the friendly service and reliable quality. While online feedback can vary depending on personal taste, the recurring theme is value for money and steady flavor. In my experience, wait times are reasonable even during peak dinner hours, which speaks to the efficiency of their kitchen process. Clear communication between front-of-house staff and cooks ensures orders move quickly without sacrificing accuracy.

Food safety and cleanliness matter just as much as flavor. The dining area has always appeared well-maintained during my visits, and open kitchen visibility adds a layer of transparency. Industry guidelines from organizations like the FDA emphasize proper food handling and temperature control, and it’s reassuring to see practices that align with those standards in neighborhood establishments.

Location-wise, being on Tatamy Road makes it convenient for both Easton residents and those passing through Northampton County. There’s accessible parking, which may seem minor until you’re picking up multiple large pizza boxes for a family gathering. I’ve personally relied on their takeout service for birthday parties and game nights, and orders have consistently been accurate and ready when promised.

Of course, no single review can capture every experience. Tastes differ, and menu availability may shift slightly over time. Still, based on repeated visits and shared meals with friends, the quality here feels dependable. In a dining landscape filled with chains and fast-casual concepts, it’s refreshing to find a locally rooted pizzeria that focuses on what matters: good ingredients, steady technique, and welcoming service.

Whether you’re craving a quick lunch slice, planning a relaxed dinner, or scanning local restaurant options in Easton, this spot delivers the kind of comfort food that feels both familiar and thoughtfully prepared.

  • Their cheesesteak hoagie is amazing. Workers are always really friendly. My parents get take out from here all the time and I certainly understand why.

  • Food was great! Fried calamari was so good & the sauce was good as well! Veal parm was delicious. I even ordered a beef gyro for lunch the next day & it was surprisingly tasty from an Italian place!

  • Good pizza, big salads made fresh on order. Nice polite service in a strip mall pizza shop. Expected prices. We enjoyed.

  • Great family owned restaurant in Easton for Italian food! We got the calamari and salad for appetizers. The calamari was crispy and well seasoned and the salad was refreshing. Both apps tided us over well before pizza. The pizza was delicious! The dough was crispy, no flop, and the proportions of sauce and cheese were perfect. One pie was plain, the other was half mushrooms and olives, half meatball. I loved the meatball on the pizza - the meatballs were juicy and slightly firm. Just right. Friendly, quick and attentive service in a clean and comfy environment. Anthony treated us well and runs a great establishment. Worth checking out for takeout or dine-in!

  • My daughter and I went last night for a quick bite. They are one of the few places locally that allow indoor dining right now. They were extremely accommodating and friendly! We ordered mozz sticks, chicken fingers and fries, and a sicilian slice - all was excellent! I really enjoyed the sicilian, and the fries were great (esp. for a pizza place). The gentleman helping us was very friendly. I'd definitely recommend!!
